1333 H Street

Constructed in 1912 and 1982, 1333 H Street consists of two Class A office buildings located on the corner of 14th and H Streets in the amenity-rich East End submarket of Washington, D.C.

Currently 95% leased, major tenants include Reuters, Center for American Progress, and The Institute of International Finance, Inc., among others. The property is located two blocks from City Center, one block from McPherson Square Metro and three blocks from Metro Center, offering direct Metro access and proximity to the area’s many amenities.

MRP identified unique features about the 1980s-vintage, mid-block building which would allow for a partial re-skin of the building on the  southern façade: prominent light, air and views and a spacious, over-parked garage. After taking the property through the Historic Preservation Review Board and necessary entitlements, MRP sold the building and renovation plans in December 2015, less than 18 months after purchase. MRP is oversaw the renovation and retained building management through the sale.
