Potomac Yard Town Center is a 17-acre mixed-use development located in Alexandria, Virginia on Route 1, bridging the Arlington and Alexandria communities. It is situated approximately 5 miles south of Washington, DC and is intended to draw tenants, residents, travelers and business from throughout the Washington metropolitan area and beyond.

It is conceived as a destination mixed-use development with a complete collection of facilities, including retail, restaurants and cafés, hotels, residential and office properties. The development will contain 414 multi-family dwelling units of residential space, 800,000 sf of office space, 3 hotels with 625 rooms, and at least 80,000 sf of retail, all situated around a 1.25 acre open space. The development will be served by the area’s only Bus Rapid Transit system, and will also be located adjacent to a future Metro stop, making it accessible by public transportation as well as by car.
The architectural tone of Potomac Yard Town Center will be unique among regional mixed-use developments, with a contemporary feel and a variety of sophisticated, modern architectural textures and materials. This approach is intended to differentiate the space from other developments in the area and create an outdoor local destination space.
