Washington Gateway
Washington, DC - NoMa
A major new mixed-use development along NoMa’s northern edge
Located at the highly visible intersection of New York Avenue and Florida Avenue, NE, in Washington, D.C., Washington Gateway is a $370-million mixed-use development that will serve as the northern anchor to the city’s NoMa district. More than 980,000 square feet of development is planned, including two office towers, 262 residential units, 15,000 sq ft of street-level retail, and 181 hotel rooms.

The master plan for Washington Gateway calls for a transformation of an abandoned lot into a graceful, pedestrian-scaled urban street and plaza experience. Sidewalks along New York Avenue and Florida Avenue will be widened and enhanced with new trees, paving, and street furnishings. Retail amenities will include sidewalk cafes and shops. The plan also includes upgraded paths connecting to the Metro station and additional transportation improvements.
