The Alric, a 323 unit residential building, is the first phase of this mixed-use environment that will be constructed over the next 10 years.
Reclaiming a contaminated site in the middle of one of Northern VA’s most attractive and historical cities in Alexandria, The Alric represents an urban sensibility and progressive architecture into a suburban corridor long yearning for alternative transportation, pedestrian traffic and thoughtful design. With the addition of the Potomac Yard Metro Station in 2019, The Alric will transform the once dormant rail yard in to the first piece of a thriving, urban town center. MRP and The JBG Companies successfully sold the project to AvalonBay in February 2016.
