The Griffin, Philadelphia, PA

The Griffin is a 17-story, beaux arts style building, situated at the corner of Broad and Chestnut Streets, constructed in 1897 originally as an office building.

A comprehensive redevelopment completed in 2016 uses the existing property façade and structural system but entirely replaced all existing building systems and interior finishes. The new property consists of 220 Class A residential units, totaling approximately 176,000 square feet of space. Amenities include a state-of-the-art building lobby, leasing office, fitness center, theater room, interior landscaped courtyard, clubroom, roof deck and newly renovated elevator cabs. The lower floors of the building will remain as retail space.
